Kevin has been the only honest machine I’ve met in Florida! I recommend him highly! Four stars!

I'm fairly impressed with Kevin. I'd like to think I'm a fairly capable mechanically myself. After struggling for a couple hours to remove an O2 sensor, I'd thoroughly rounded the hex off and still failed to remove it. After another muffler shop failed to remove it and suggested I needed a new catalytic converter (those cost about 350+ for a tundra) I took it to Kevin. When I told him the situation, he laughed a little and said bring it down so he could see it. He had it less than an hour, had that O2 sensor out, and said $50 bucks ( his shop rate is 90$/hr. One of the best priced shop rates I've seen in pinellas co.) I also liked his knowledge. He asked me if I could run down a grab a little pack of antiseize to put on the new sensor ( he had a jar of it, but could find it) half the mechanics out there would have just slapped it in and let the next guy deal with it, in a couple of years). In recap: he got done what the neighbors couldn't. He charged me a very fair price, and he listened to me when I was telling him what I needed done. Last point: Kevin didn't strike me as the type that obsesses over Google reviews (or even reads his) so you know there's no coaching or begging fo

I got an A/C compression put into my vehicle , it ran for about 3 weeks and then completely stopped blowing out cold air. I informed Kevin on the problems I was having & brought my car in for inspection and was told that I needed a “connector piece” but couldn’t show me what I needed to purchase to fix this problem. After taking my vehicle to ice cold air I was told I needed a new compressor, the one I just got installed wasn’t put in properly which caused the part to fail. I called Kevin explaining what I was told and he responded saying I would need to purchase another compression & that it wasn’t his fault. Still not aware of the “part name” I needed to fix this issue. After paying $300 for the service and purchasing a compressor separately my money was wasted and it didn’t seem that he really cared since he was already paid

Kevin's Automotive Services came highly recommended by another mechanic to handle of my leaking exhaust. Kevin did a great job! He was professional, friendly, caring and very competitive in pricing. My car was ready on time. I was very happy with Keivin's work and I would recommend Kevin's Automotive Services to anyone who needs their exhaust, alternator or timing belt etc. repaired or replaced.
